This senior finance leadership role is integral to supporting King’s games teams. You will partner closely with General Managers and Leadership Teams to shape commercial and financial strategy, provide insight and challenge, and ensure performance and plans are aligned with senior leadership expectations. Working alongside a strong Commercial FP&A function, you will play a key role in driving forecasting direction, business insight, and strategic decision support, helping to ensure King’s portfolio of games continues to perform and evolve in line with company priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnering: Act as a trusted finance leader to senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing input and challenge on commercial strategy, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Lead forecasting and planning activities for parts of King’s portfolio, shaping assumptions, aligning with business stakeholders, and reviewing outputs in partnership with FP&A. Ensure plans balance ambition with realism and are clearly articulated to senior leadership.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and assess business performance on a weekly and monthly basis, identifying risks, opportunities, and areas requiring deeper analysis. Provide clear updates, insight, and recommendations to leadership forums.
  • Insight Generation: Translate financial and non‑financial data into meaningful insights that inform strategic decision‑making. Lead analytical deep dives and modelling for new initiatives, changes in strategy, or emerging opportunities.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across game teams, marketing, strategy, and other central functions, ensuring financial implications are embedded into investment reviews, roadmap discussions, and leadership meetings.
  • Strategic Projects & Business Cases: Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases for new initiatives, long‑range planning, and significant commercial decisions. Work closely with FP&A to deliver robust financial analysis and modelling.
  • Leadership Influence: Represent games’ financial perspective in senior forums, ensuring clarity, alignment, and credibility in the way performance and strategy are communicated.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a senior finance business partner in a fast‑paced global organisation (gaming, tech, or digital industries preferred).
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of the drivers of revenue growth, monetisation, and marketing performance in a digital business.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge senior leadership, with confidence in advocating for strategic priorities in senior forums.
  • Skilled at translating financial and non‑financial metrics into actionable insights and narratives for business leaders.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to land clear, compelling performance narratives.
  • Experience leading business cases, evaluating investment opportunities, and shaping commercial strategy.
