Summary
We're looking for a motivated Landscape Operative to join our friendly and growing team at King of Spades Landscaping in Liverpool. In this role, there is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience, learn new skills, and work outdoors on a variety of landscaping projects.
Responsibilities
- Preparing of soil, levelling, turfing and weeding control.
- Installing plants and trees as per supplied planting plans and prepare land drains.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean working environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Driving to new build sites and liaising with site managers.
- Supporting your team to complete jobs efficiently.
- Perform hard landscaping tasks on occasion such as flagging and fencing.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in landscaping.
