The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Responsible for supporting and enhancing the delivery of projects from both a Mechanical and Electrical technical perspective. This role reports to a Project Manager or Contracts Manager.
Responsibilities
- Become familiar with all project details, designs and specifications across Mechanical & Electrical disciplines.
- Collate technical submittals as detailed by the Contracts/Project Manager and manage this process.
- Liaise daily with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.
- Manage, review and coordinate drawings as requested, ensuring the latest revisions are being worked to on site.
- Redline drawings with as-built information and issue to design.
- Raise and maintain the RFI schedule.
- Input into weekly progress reports and collaborate with Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Design and QS teams.
- Ensure all works are carried out and managed in accordance with the King & Moffatt Integrated Management System.
- Manage site QA/QC procedures, including issuing weekly and monthly QA/QC reports.
- Monitor Subcontractor compliance with project specifications, building regulations, standards and health & safety requirements.
- Apply troubleshooting techniques to identify problems and implement corrective actions.
- Assist QS in variations, back-up for changes, and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with all site and project requirements, including EHSQ regulations.
- Manage document control, ensuring all logs and registers are kept up to date.
- Compile Operation & Maintenance Manuals, commissioning documentation, handover packs and test packs.
- Maintain the K&M Document Management System.

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a relevant Trade background.
- Comprehensive understanding of the tendering process.
- Experience in providing technical support to management and site installation teams desirable.
- Working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent English.
- Willing to learn and adapt to different elements of a project.
