Minor Civils Engineer Required for Ongoing Projects Location: London and surrounding arreas Rates: Negotiable On behalf of our client, KCS is seeking experienced Minor Civil Engineers to join ongoing projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled professionals to work on infrastructure, utilities, and construction projects, ensuring accurate site setup and coordination for civil engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: * Set out and survey works for civil engineering teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with designs. * Interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, and site plans. * Use GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment to mark out structures and earthworks. * Provide technical support and guidance to site teams during project execution. * Conduct quality control checks and ensure works are completed to required standards. * Liaise with site managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery. * Prepare reports, keep records of setting-out data, and assist with progress documentation. * Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site. Key Requirements: * Proven experience as a Civil Engineer, Site Engineer, or Setting-Out Engineer in the construction or infrastructure sectors. * Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred). * CSCS Card (essential). * Proficiency in GPS, total stations, and levelling equipment. * Strong knowledge of setting-out procedures and civil engineering best practices. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Working Hours: * Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. * Night Shifts and Weekend/Bank Holiday work available at enhanced rates.
