Geotechnical Drillers required in London and surrounding areas Location: London Salary: Rates are negotiable based on qualifications and experience KCS is seeking experienced Geotechnical Drillers to join our ongoing projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled professionals to work on soil and ground investigation projects, operating specialized drilling machinery to support geotechnical assessments. Key Responsibilities: * Operate drilling rigs and equipment to conduct geotechnical soil and ground investigations. * Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on drilling equipment. * Collect soil and rock samples for analysis, ensuring accurate logging and reporting. * Adhere to project specifications and industry standards during drilling operations. * Collaborate with geotechnical engineers and site teams to ensure efficient project execution. * Maintain detailed records of drilling activities and sample collections. * Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. Key Requirements: * Proven experience as a Driller, preferably in geotechnical or ground investigation projects. * Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Drilling Operations – Land Drilling or equivalent qualification. * CSCS Card or equivalent certification. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and site plans. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Working Hours: * Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. * Night Shifts and Weekend/Bank Holiday work available at enhanced rates.
