Key Responsibilities
- Carry out lifting operations in line with approved lift plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Perform daily crane checks, inspections, and basic maintenance; report defects promptly.
- Work closely with Appointed Persons, Lift Supervisors, Slings/Signallers, and site teams to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, including inspection sheets and job documentation.
- Represent King Lifting professionally when liaising with clients and site personnel.
- Support depot operations as required, including travel to various sites.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Holds a valid CPCS Mobile Crane Operator card (6‑axle / tower crane).
- Proven experience operating mobile tower cranes.
- Strong understanding of lifting operations, load charts, and safe systems of work.
- Safety‑focused with a professional and responsible attitude.
- Flexible and adaptable, with availability to work across sites as required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- HGV licence and full UK driving licence.
