We are currently seeking an experienced full-time LGV Class 1 Driver to join our Heavy Cranes Transport division. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled driver with experience in transporting heavy and abnormal loads who is looking to work within a professional and safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport heavy plant and crane equipment, including abnormal loads, to various sites
- Ensure full compliance with road transport regulations, operator licence requirements, and Company policies
- Carry out vehicle checks and basic maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
- Work closely with the planning and operations teams to deliver projects efficiently
- Maintain accurate records, including tachograph and delivery documentation
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Demonstrable experience driving heavy and/or abnormal loads
- Valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- Strong understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
- A safety-focused approach with excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights or weekends
