My client is seeking a warm, organised and service-minded Receptionist to join their Front of House team. You will be the first point of contact for their patients, helping to deliver a calm, elegant and highly professional experience from arrival to check-out.
**What you’ll do**
- Welcome patients, provide guidance and ensure a smooth, reassuring experience throughout their visit.
- Manage check-in/check-out, appointments, paperwork and daily clinic flow.
- Support clinicians by keeping diaries accurate and up to date and by coordinating diagnostic or procedure schedules.
- Maintain accurate records in our EMR system; prepare and check patient letters, forms and follow-up items.
- Handle payments, deposits, and invoices with accuracy and professionalism.
- Uphold GDPR, confidentiality, and clinic compliance standards; contribute to a tidy, premium reception environment.
- Work closely with the Front of House Manager, nursing and imaging teams to keep clinics running on time.
**What we’re looking for**
- Experience in a premium healthcare, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a polished, confident telephone manner and strong written English.
- Highly organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once.
- Accurate and reliable with EMR/CRM systems, email, and basic Microsoft Office.
- Warm, patient-centred, and naturally professional in manner and presentation.
**Desirable**
- Experience in private healthcare or ophthalmology.
- Knowledge of clinic administration, medical terminology, or CQC expectations.
