My client is looking for a compassionate and capable Clinic Nurse to join their specialist day-surgery clinic team. You’ll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality care to patients undergoing cosmetic, skin, dermatology and minor surgical procedures.
What you’ll do:
- Provide friendly, professional pre- and post-operative care to day-surgery and cosmetic patients.
- Experience in pre-assessment of patients is also ideal.
- Support minor ops including skin lesion removal, dermatology treatments / procedures etc.
- Carry out clinical tasks such as observations, wound care, dressings, consent checks and discharge advice.
- Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all equipment is clean, organised and compliant.
- Work closely with surgeons and clinicians to maintain smooth patient flow and excellent clinical standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation and uphold infection control, safeguarding and safety protocols.
Hours:
Sometimes 4x or 5x days per week. Occasional Saturday clinics – no Sundays. Working hours between the times of 7.30am and 7pm – either an early or later shift. 40 hours per week.
What we’re looking for:
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with experience in day surgery, outpatients, cosmetics or dermatology (or strong interest in these areas).
- Confident with minor ops assistance, wound care and patient education.
- Warm, calm and reassuring with excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional patient care.
