Private Clinic – Harley Street

£36,000 - £40,000

Full time – Permanent – Monday to Friday

King Healthcare are currently assisting a leading Ophthalmic Private Clinic on Harley Street in their search for a Clinic Nurse. This position is an Outpatient Clinic Nurse role with a variation in day to day tasks including involvement in scrubbing in for theatres. This client is a specialist within Laser Eye Surgeries and are seeking a new nurse to join their team. You do not have to have experience in this speciality either! They will offer full training on the job providing you have the necessary pre and post op skills.

The Role

This position will report into the Clinic Manager and involve looking after patients both pre‑op and post‑op. You will also be involved in assisting the team of surgeons within theatres alongside some Ophthalmic diagnostic testing. In addition, you will also administer and dispense eye drops whilst educating patients on correct usage as well ordering medical supplies and performing stock takes.

The clinic is open from 7:30am to 7:00pm with a rota operating across Monday to Friday and no weekend/night requirement.

The Candidate

The ideal applicant for this role will be a Nurse with 2 years’ + pre and post op experience. Although someone with a background in Ophthalmics would be ideal, my client will consider a qualified nurse with an interest to work in this field and are able to provide full training in this area.

Salary and Benefits

The salary on offer for this position is between £36,000 – £40,000 dependent on experience. In addition are several benefits including a generous annual leave allowance, private health cover, private pension scheme, employee discounts etc.
