King George & Queen’s Hospitals Charity is entering a pivotal new chapter as it becomes an independent NHS charity, with a three-year strategic plan and ambitious plans to grow its impact and income. The role reports to the Chief Executive and is a senior, hands-on position responsible for developing high-value fundraising to complement the Charity’s community fundraising and events programme.
A major appeal is being explored to support the £35m planned development of a new A&E department at Queen’s Hospital, a transformational project with the potential to attract significant philanthropic support. This is a rare opportunity to shape and grow a high-value fundraising portfolio at a formative moment, helping secure transformational investment in hospital care for local communities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth of philanthropy, corporate partnerships, and trust income.
- Develop high-value fundraising to complement the Charity’s community fundraising and events programme.
