This is an exceptional opportunity for a part-time Learning Support Assistant to join a flourishing boarding and day school, set on an attractive 100-acre campus in a beautiful part of rural Surrey. The successful applicant will work as part of the Learning Support Team in supporting and including pupils in mainstream classes and providing some 1:1 support, particularly those on the SEND Register or pupils who would benefit from catch-up literacy and numeracy. They will work closely with the SENDCO and the team to support a broad spectrum of subjects for a number of pupils in the Senior School and to ensure that all pupils are supported according to their needs.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils in mainstream classes and provide some 1:1 support, particularly for those on the SEND Register or who would benefit from catch-up literacy and numeracy.
- Collaborate with the SENDCO and Learning Support Team to support a broad spectrum of subjects for Senior School pupils and tailor support to individual needs.
