This is an exceptional opportunity for a new Drama Assistant & Resident Tutor to join a flourishing boarding and day school, set on an attractive 100-acre campus in a beautiful part of rural Surrey. We are offering a placement for a Drama Assistant who may want to gain experience of working in a school environment. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience prior to a career in teaching or sports coaching.

In addition to the coaching opportunities, there is a significant administrative role associated with the position. Due to the nature of resident tutor roles, accommodation will be provided and a competitive salary (dependent on age) in return for variable hours and days worked to support sports events and functions within the school calendar. We also offer free car parking, free use of our gym, swimming pool and sports facilities, all meals and snacks on duty and a Cycle to Work Scheme. Paid additional residential duties may also be available for the right candidate.

King Edward’s School is a co-educational boarding and day 11‑18 school for some 480 pupils, around 25% of whom are full boarders. We are an HMC school and proud of our unique heritage and place among British co‑educational independent schools.
