We have a vacancy for a confident, enthusiastic Examinations Administrator to provide high quality support to our Examinations Team at our Upper School site.

Responsibilities

  • The post holder will be required to assist the Examinations Administration Manager with all aspects of School external and internal examinations for Key Stage 4 and 5.
  • This will involve assisting with the organisation of examination entries and sessions, preparation of timetables and the distribution of results in conjunction with the data team, along with day-to-day organisation of, and support to, examination invigilators.
  • The role will also require the post holder to undertake general administrative/clerical duties.

Applicants must have a good working knowledge of the whole suite of Microsoft Office software and be comfortable using Word and Excel extensively. We use SIMS as our main management information software and whilst familiarity with this piece of software is not essential the successful candidate must be able to learn quickly as they will use this central source of management information on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will be required to complete Disclosure and Barring Service declarations in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997. All applicants are required to read the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy incorporating Self-Harm and Online Safety.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS certificate. As the post will involve regulated activity with children, it is a criminal offence to apply for this post if you are included on the children’s barred list held by the DBS.
