Salary: Grade 5 – £27,274 -£28,153 per annum – pro rata
Actual starting salary £20,803 per annum.
Contract type: 32.5 hours per week – Term Time + 6 additional days

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team. The role will involve supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain engaged in learning and complete work that has been set. The postholder will also be required to work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to support students' learning, progress and wellbeing across the school.
The successful candidate will have strong literacy and numeracy skills and experience of supporting young people's learning. We are looking for an individual who is confident, organised and able to build positive relationships with students whilst maintaining high expectations of behaviour and conduct. The post requires someone who can establish productive working relationships with students, act as a positive role model, and promote the inclusion and achievement of all students. An ability to remain calm under pressure, respond sensitively to individual needs and communicate effectively with students, staff and parents is essential.
The hours of work are 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday.
