This is an exciting time for King Human Resources and we are looking for a Director of HR Strategy and Operations, to have a direct impact on King’s critical People priorities. This is a fixed term contract until Feb 2027.

Your Role Within the Kingdom

You will drive the successful achievement of HR’s mission and goals partnering directly with King HR Leadership to develop and execute our organization’s strategic vision and manage a senior project specialist.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is a broad role performing a variety of duties including but not limited to:

  • Partnering with HR and business stakeholders to manage the annual strategic planning and financial management processes.
  • Leading the development, tracking and reporting of HR Leadership’s strategic priorities and associated measures.
  • Leading People Strategic Projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation including change requirements driven by those projects.
  • Leading the HR team cyclical processes; including People Quarterly Reviews with the King Senior Leadership Team, annual performance process, promotions, bonus and employee listening.

Skills to Create Thrills

  • Experience leading organizational strategy definition, organizational efficiency initiatives, Project/Program and change management.
  • Proven ability leading operational improvements and driving efficiencies across ways of working.
  • Creating compelling PowerPoint decks/presentations that influence leadership decision making.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; able to use data to inform decisions and visualize it to influence others through storytelling.
  • Results oriented, combining commercial acumen and awareness of business impact.
  • A high degree of adaptability and ability navigating the organization across sophisticated and diverse situations.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; strong decision-making skills and provide well-informed solutions.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to capture audiences of all levels in the organization.
  • Great teammate with a roll-up-one’s-sleeves attitude, and highly developed sense of proactivity.
