We are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Childcare Room Leader to join our amazing Team. We want you to be excited to go to work each day and want you to feel valued and appreciated. King David Nursery Elm Road is based in the Slade Green area of Bexley and is about 6 minutes walk from Slade Green Station.

Applicants must possess NVQ3 Pre-School or equivalent and must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Pre-School environment. Duties include:

  • Implementing the New Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS)
  • Planning activities
  • Supervision of the children
  • Carrying out duties required by the Manager
  • Working within the Nursery's policy and procedure

Applicants must have the ability to communicate both written and verbal information to parents. Successful applicants will be asked to provide an Enhanced DBS check and must register with the update service. Expenses met by the candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and knowledge in areas of Nursery and Nursing practices
  • Strong understanding of Safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Ability to foster creativity and engage children through educational and creative activities
  • Proven experience or passion for Working With Children
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork abilities
  • Relevant Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification is advantageous
  • Basic first-aid knowledge is desirable

  • Immediate start required
  • 8.00am to 3.00pm, 30 hour week, Monday to Friday, Term time
