About the Company
Our client is a leading façade package contractor delivering complex building envelope solutions across high-profile commercial and residential projects. With ongoing work in London, Birmingham, and Manchester, they’ve built a strong reputation for technical excellence and reliability in the façade and cladding industry. Due to continued growth, they’re now seeking an experienced Project Director to lead multiple façade projects and drive successful delivery across their portfolio.
The Role
The Façade Project Director will oversee the full lifecycle of façade packages — from pre-construction and design through to manufacture, installation, and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple façade projects (typically £10m–£40m in value)
- Oversee project delivery teams including Project Managers, Site Managers, and Design Managers
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure programme, quality, and commercial objectives are achieved
- Support tendering and pre-construction planning where required
- Drive HSEQ standards and ensure compliance across all sites
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost control with the commercial team
- Regular Site Attendance where necessary on projects across the UK.
About You
- Proven track record in façades, curtain walling, cladding, or building envelope contracting
- Experience delivering large-scale façade projects (£10m+)
- Strong leadership, client management, and commercial awareness
- Ability to oversee multiple project teams simultaneously
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
