We’re looking for an experienced NICEIC Qualified Supervisor to join King & Moffatt Building Services and oversee electrical compliance, inspection, testing, and technical quality across our projects and operational teams.

What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor and primary point of contact for NICEIC assessments and audits
- Reviewing and signing off Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), Minor Works Certificates, and testing documentation
- Carrying out internal technical audits and inspections across project sites
- Ensuring all electrical installations comply with BS7671 and relevant regulations
- Supporting electrical teams with technical guidance, compliance advice, and problem-solving
- Managing the calibration and compliance of electrical testing equipment
- Leading safe isolation and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures across projects
- Supporting training, mentoring, and development of electricians, testers, and apprentices
- Producing technical reports, audit findings, and compliance updates for management teams
- Identifying recurring quality or compliance issues and supporting corrective actions
- Working closely with Project Managers, Operations Teams, and Compliance Departments to maintain high standards across all projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within Electrical Installation or Building Services
- Previous experience in a supervisory, inspection, or testing role
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification essential
- Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification essential
- Strong knowledge of BS7671, electrical compliance, and testing procedures
- Experience with NICEIC standards, assessments, and certification processes
- ECS Gold Card or equivalent recognised status
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience using digital certification software such as NICEIC Cert Software, EasyCert, or Tysoft desirable
