Due to the continued growth of King and Moffatt Building Services, we are now looking to add to our Design team based in our Edinburgh office.

What you would do:

  • Modelling drawing and coordinating mechanical and electrical designs to ensure projects can be constructed with little or no rework once the site team commence work.
  • Attendance on weekly internal model and design team meetings and project BIM meetings with the main contractors.
  • Ensuring the latest models, drawings and designs from all other stakeholders are being used and notifying engineers and site team of any changes to these models or drawings.
  • Generating Revit models from the senior engineers outputs (sketches / Hevacomp / Cymap / DIALux / Relux).
  • Creation of Revit families where manufacturers' files are not available.
  • Model Skids & Modules to allow K&M offsite to manufacture and deliver to site.
  • Manage clash reporting and clash resolution between disciplines.
  • Maintain ACC / BIM360 cloud Models & reporting.
  • Provide technical assistance to project team where required while project is ongoing.
  • Integration of Cloud Point Surveys.
  • Ensure compliance with all project BIM documentation.
  • Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Revit MEP experience in the construction / building services field.
  • Relevant qualification in BIM or Mechanical or Electrical engineering is beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner (in person and over email).
