Channel sales director will oversee all the channel sales and marketing operations, ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction. Part of their job is to establish Channel Programs, roadmaps, set guidelines and timelines, liaise with internal and external parties, gather and analyze reports from different teams, develop strategies to increase revenue and strengthen client relationships, and address issues and concerns, solving them promptly and effectively. Channel Director will be responsible for meeting the growth metrics defined by the board and VP of Sales.
As a channel sales director, he will lead and encourage the channel team to reach goals while implementing the company's policies and regulations. The responsibilities of the candidate will include:
- Create yearly strategic plan for the Channel Department including all recruited channel partners with clear goals and objectives, and report quarterly progress.
- Sets short- and long-term channel sales strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current programs.
- Directs and oversees channel sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Ensure a healthy pipeline of Channel partners in the territories identified for expansion for all verticals including LMS, TMS, Fintech, and others.
- Work with other departments, including Marketing, Global, EdTech, Partners Success, R&D, Sales, Telecom, to ensure the solutions market fit in the target territories.
- Develop and execute various marketing campaigns, progress leads and conduct post-program ROI analysis to gauge effectiveness.
- Develop co-marketing business plans resulting in YoY growth with existing Channel partners.
- Lead channel budget allocations for all channels assessing anticipated ROI of investments.
- Develop sales process, CRM processes and business rules for all distribution and channel partner sales.
- Lead sales initiatives for identified territories, driving MoEs, Private Schools, Universities, Government and Corporate sales through appropriate Channel Ecosystem.
- Work with Partners Success to ensure they deliver exceptional client ROI results through metrics-based results and focus scorecards.
