Kinetic Recruitment are currently looking for a Yard / Plant Operative with an FLT Counterbalance licence, to work for a growing organisation, based within the Deeside area.
Purpose of the role
As a Yard Operative, you will be responsible for recycling, sorting, site housekeeping, conducting machinery checks and assisting the effective running of the site. You will also operate plant machinery and be responsible for the loading and unloading of containers and curtain siders by use of a Forklift Truck and depending on the plant on site; either operating a Loading Shovel or 360 in order to manage stock rotation.
Main tasks
- Loading and unloading containers and curtain siders by use of Fork Lift Truck
- Removing non-conforming materials from the material bought to site
- Completing daily checks and ensuring machinery, plant and equipment are in good, safe working order and completing daily plant books
- Conducting regular checks on work areas, reporting any problems.
- Rotation of stock around site and cleaning of yard to maintain an efficient site
- Ensuring the company Health Safety and environmental policies are strictly adhered to.
- Closely liaising with our Weighbridge Operator to understand daily inbound/outbound material/stock levels
- Any other reasonable task as directed by Manager.
Licences, registrations and qualifications
NPORS / RTITB / ITSARR or similar licence to operate relevant mobile plant.

Monday - Friday
Rotating shift pattern of 06:00 to 14:00 | 14:00 to 22:00
