Kinetic Recruitment are looking to recruit a Facilities Manager to look after a number of commercial/residential sites in the Greater Manchester area. You will be office‑based in the South Manchester/Cheshire area near Wilmslow, with a requirement to visit various sites locally to help oversee building performance, organise planned/reactive activities, support on‑site inspections, whilst liaising with the Managers of those buildings/offices. You will be employed by a large and renowned building/property development company.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all hard & soft Facilities services are delivered to specification, and planned/reactive activities meet SLAs, agreed delivery process, cost & reporting requirements.
- Creating excellent relationships with tenants, suppliers, contractors and in‑house teams, driving performance, communication and motivation.
- Overseeing performance of all building and service‑specific Compliance activities (including remedial actions).
- Managing landlord services & third‑party/tenant relationships, ensuring service charge obligations are met.
- Coordinating & supporting onsite inspections/assessments (Fire Risk Assessment, Cleaning audits etc).
- Providing accurate and useful monthly/quarterly internal/external reporting for the Company.
- Supporting internal and external H & S activities.
- Ensuring adherence to all regulatory Compliance and H & S requirements.
Requirements:
- Essential: Project Management experience, Hard & Soft Facilities Management experience, Experience in managing contractors and in‑house teams, Good working knowledge of H & S in the workplace.
- Desirable: Experience of assisting in the facilities management of multi‑site operations across a region, IOSHH/NEBOSHH.
Benefits/Hours:
- Salary: Up to £44000 per annum + £5k car allowance + Phone/laptop
- Hours: 0900 - 17.30 Monday to Friday
- 28 days holiday - extra day a year for 5 years
