Kinetic Industrial are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative for a Derby based client.
The company is a niche provider of outsourced services and has an excellent reputation within the medical industry.
This is a temporary to permanent role involving goods-in, picking and packing, stock control and occasional delivery driving.
You must be able to work Monday to Friday, between 7:30am to 5pm (hours to be confirmed).
- Role
- Unload deliveries and follow goods-in procedures
- Check deliveries for quantity, quality and expiry dates
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time
- Create packing labels and delivery manifests
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies
- Complete stock counts and replenish stock as required
- Use a 3.5-tonne van to make deliveries and provide driving cover for holidays and absences
- Use ORACLE to receipt goods and process sales orders
- Maintain Health & Safety standards and carry out equipment checks
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience
- Full, clean UK driving licence - essential, as occasional van driving will be required
- Experience driving a 3.5-tonne van with tail lift is desirable
- Counterbalance FLT licence and experience desirable but not essential
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good understanding of manual handling practices
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
