Supply Chain Planner to support a busy planning function within a large engineering/manufacturing environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner starting out in their career and looking to build hands-on experience with MRP, scheduling and supplier management. As a Supply Chain Planner you will support the creation and execution of the Master Production Schedule and Material Requirements Plan, ensuring customer demand is met and supply chain risks are identified and mitigated. You'll use planning systems, data and KPIs to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily planning across materials, production, inventory or logistics
- Use MRP/ERP tools to support scheduling and demand planning
- Manage suppliers and identify risks or potential failures
- Analyse KPIs to drive improvements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement activity
Skills & Experience
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Experience in supplier management
- Good Excel skills and strong numerical capability
- Good communication skills
- At least one internship or equivalent experience in a supply chain role
- SAP experience is advantageous, not essential
- Manufacturing supply chain experience beneficial, not mandatory
Working Hours & Location
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The first 3 weeks will be working fully onsite whilst training. After training you will be able to work hybrid (3 days onsite) with flexible office hours between 8am and 6pm.
