Our client, based in the Oldham area, is looking for a MIG & TIG Welder. Pay is £15.50 per hour PAYE, equivalent to a basic annual salary of £31,434. This is a permanent position; applicants must be looking for long‑term work and be able to commute to Oldham.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • MIG welding frames
  • Carrying out TIG welding with stainless steel in the manufacturing process of custom‑built equipment

Hours of work are 7:45am–4:45pm Monday‑Thursday, with a 12:45pm finish on Friday.

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Welding or equivalent
  • MIG welding of 3‑5mm mild steel and stainless steel
  • TIG welding
  • Experience with thin gauge stainless steel welding to a good finish
