Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our client, supporting projects. This role will involve commissioning, testing, and validating electrical and instrumentation systems in hazardous areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out commissioning activities on electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Perform loop checks, functional testing, and system validation
  • Ensure all systems are installed and operate in accordance with design specifications
  • Work with project teams to resolve technical issues during commissioning phases
  • Produce and maintain commissioning documentation and reports
  • Ensure compliance with site safety standards and procedures
  • Support handover activities to clients and operations teams

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer in a relevant industry
  • Valid COMPEX 01-04 certification (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of hazardous area installations and regulations
  • Experience with electrical/instrumentation systems commissioning
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
