Based at the company's state‑of‑the‑art global headquarters in Groby, this unique contract offers the perfect blend of office‑based administration and hands‑on operational support. This is not a typical, static desk job. You will be the vital link connecting the office to the manufacturing floor, taking ownership of the full product lifecycle from the moment components arrive to the final dispatch to global customers. Responsibilities
- Manage the complete 'goods in and out' process using the company's digital booking systems.
- Spend time on the active shop floor, safely lifting, moving, and packing boxes for dispatch.
- Coordinate external repairs on behalf of customers and correspond confidently with internal sales reps, production teams, and external clients.
- Procurement Admin: Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure all administrative records are kept up to date.
- Work closely with engineering and assembly teams to keep operations moving smoothly.
- Adhere strictly to industry‑leading ISO17025 and ISO9001 accredited quality procedures.
Qualifications
- The ability to balance administrative tasks with hands‑on, manual duties.
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake a temporary maternity cover role.
- Strong IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- SAP knowledge (advantageous but not essential).
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise daily and weekly workloads.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to enhancing processes.
- A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes.
- A basic understanding of pressure and electrical instrumentation (beneficial).
- Fully available and enthusiastic about committing to an 8‑9 month temporary contract.
