Kinetic Recruitment are looking to recruit experienced Manufacturing / Mechanical Assemblers for one of our clients in Leicester. They are a multinational company and market leader in their field. As a Manufacturing Technician within the modules department, you will be cross‑trained.

Duties include:

  • Assembling mechanical parts
  • Carrying out duties within the production line as instructed by line manager
  • Adhering to the company’s Health and Safety guidelines
  • Providing total cell commitment and support in the attainment of goals, with respect to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance tasks
  • Working towards lean and continuous improvements in the area
  • Reviewing workload priorities with the line manager and acting on the guidance provided
  • Assembling and fitting printed circuit boards (PCBs) onto mechanical components as part of team processes

To be successful within the role as Assembly Technician you will be required to:

  • Have good manual dexterity for assembling electro/mechanical components
  • Be able to read and understand technical drawings & job‑related manufacturing documentation
  • Be able to accurately maintain records and have clear, legible handwriting
  • Have good verbal & written communication skills
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Be able to multitask and rotate across key processes
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Follow written procedures and use computer systems to access and check manufacturing instructions
  • Have previous experience in soldering or component assembly (beneficial but not essential)
  • Handle a variety of products requiring a careful and detail‑focused approach
  • Show willingness to learn and develop skills
