Are you an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new position? Is Huyton in Merseyside somewhere you can easily commute to? Happy with a salary including shift of circa £55500? This role is working in a brand new state of the art paper converting facility, with exciting plans for rapid expansion in the near future
Job Overview
- Leading a multidisciplinary team of operators.
- Operating equipment to the required standards while achieving set production targets.
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including tissue converting machinery, packaging equipment, and ancillary systems.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical faults, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and address issues, while documenting maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Assisting with new equipment installations and managing contractor relationships.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and developing maintenance procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
- Performing basic production operator tasks as required.
