Kinetic PLC are working alongside an extremely successful company based in Glossop. We are assisting them to recruit a Packing Operative who has an FLT Licence. You will be working on and off the fork lift truck so if you are fine in doing both Packing and FLT - this might be the role for you.
Responsibilities
- Using the FLT to load and unload
- Packing of high value components from the work order provided
- Labelling the components and placing in the appropriate boxes
- Working in an engineering environment
- Preparing orders for dispatch, making sure of traceability at every step
- Completing shipping documents
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Using computers to book items off the systems
Qualifications
- FLT Licence – Counter Balance a must for this role as you will be working on and off the truck
- Ability to work methodically and accurately
- Experience of working within an Engineering environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer literate
- Comfortable with lifting components of varying weight
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to get to Glossop with ease
