As a Food Production Operative, you will be working in a fast‑paced, targeted factory environment.
Due to health and safety, you must be able to pass a Maths and English test prior to starting.
Responsibilities
- Packing finished products into boxes
- Lifting bags or boxes weighing up to 25kg
- Conducting quality checks throughout production
- Loading, palletising, and general line support
- Working as part of a team while using your own initiative
- Maintaining a consistent and fast work pace
- Reading documents
- Writing down important information
Qualifications
- Previous food production experience – essential. Candidates without this experience cannot be offered work for this role and won’t be contacted.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) to read instructions and complete required documentation.
- Numerical competency, as you will complete a numerical test during registration.
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely in a fast‑moving environment.
- A team‑player attitude with a willingness to support colleagues.
- Reliability, good timekeeping, and a proactive work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors.
- Ability to follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times.

- Shift options: 05:50 to 13:50, 13:50 to 21:50, or 21:50 to 05:50 – flexibility to work all 3 would be great.
- Pay: £12.71 (Mornings & Afternoons) or £13.62 (Nights).
- Can be ad hoc work but you will know in advance.
- Could lead to permanent work and/or promotion.
