Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for your next permanent position? Do you have previous experience working in a pharmaceutical or food environment and the ability to attend breakdowns and carry out PPM with minimal supervision? Would a salary just shy of £40,000 plus shift allowance be acceptable? If you answered “yes” to the above, suitable candidates will be called and given additional information on the company and the role.
Responsibilities
- Keep up to date with production efficiency and demand on the equipment.
- Assist in the skills development of engineering apprentices.
- Fault find during production and perform planned and unplanned maintenance.
- Assess the need of spare parts.
- Undertake effective planning and prioritisation of workload whenever necessary.
- Understand and operate in line with relevant legislation, company policy and procedures.
- Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the business.
- Maintain the required standards of housekeeping.
- Support other teams and functions as required by the business.
- Undertake self‑development activities as required by the business.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices operated by the company.
- Conform to the health and safety procedures and policies.
- Report any quality or food‑safety related issues to the supervisor/manager.

Shift: 8‑hour days (06:00‑14:00 / 08:00‑16:00 & 14:00‑22:00)
