The predicted salary is between 38337 - 46000 Β£ per year.
A permanent Pipe Welder position is available at a new facility in Dewsbury (WF12), working a 4-day week (Monday to Thursday). The salary ranges from Β£38,337 to Β£46,000 per annum, with additional overtime available on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless and carbon steel pipework to X-ray standard.
- Fabricate pipework and fittings from technical drawings.
- Carry out purging and ensure welds meet pressure and integrity standards.
- Tack welding and assemble pipe sections.
- Conduct weld inspections and re-work defects.
- Maintain accurate weld records and adhere to strict health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with supervisors, pipefitters, and quality inspectors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in TIG pipe welding (MMA is a bonus).
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
- Strong understanding of welding codes (e.g. BSEN, ASME, AWS).
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Welding certifications and pipe-welding evidence required (NVQ, City & Guilds, College Level 2/3, etc.).
- Able to pass weld tests for TIG butt, pipe-to-plate fillet, and MMA butt & fillet (bonus).
