Principal Scientist/ Technical Lead – NW/ North Wales– Diagnostics

About the Company:

We are looking for a highly experienced immunoassay scientist with the ability to work autonomously in a lead position at a company in the Northwest/ North Wales area. This is a site-based role.

Responsibilities:

• Act as immunoassay, cell culture and antibody subject matter expert.
• Lead the optimisation of manufacturing processes.
• Act as innovation and new technology champion.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA.
• Support audits.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, GMP and other requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement.
• Work closely with cross functional teams.
• Mentor, train and develop staff.

Requirements:

• Degree in Biochemistry or related.
• Expert on immunoassays.
• Significant experience in diagnostics, biotechnology or biopharmaceutical manufacturing technical support.
• Experience working in a lead role within cross functional team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with SAP and LIMS.
• Experience in continuous improvement.
