We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer with experience with electromechanical products in the healthcare, equipment or device industry to join a well-established leader in their field. There is substantial travel in this role including to mainland Europe when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs on customer equipment
  • Respond to breakdowns efficiently, meeting agreed service levels and timelines
  • Install and commission equipment in line with relevant UK and EU standards
  • Follow service, repair, and installation procedures to ensure quality and safety
  • Liaise daily with operations teams to plan and prioritise workloads
  • Accurately complete service reports, documentation, and expense records
  • Act as a professional representative of the business when working with customers
  • Support contract servicing schedules, ensuring cost-effective and efficient delivery

Requirements:

  • Strong background in electro-mechanical or electronic engineering (HNC/HND or equivalent)
  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining electro-mechanical systems
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence and valid passport (essential)
  • Flexible, resilient, and able to perform under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards
