Applications Scientist/ Technician – Southampton – Healthcare

About the Company

We are looking for a scientist with a degree or industry experience wanting to apply their knowledge within the healthcare industry.

This field-based role primarily around the Southampton area but also requires UK wise and European travel.

This is a client facing role which will involved equipment use, testing, communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Customer service and support.
  • Equipment set up, usage and close down.
  • Project planning and delivery.
  • Testing.
  • Ensuring equipment is kept in good working order.
  • Completing documentation to required standard.
  • Mentoring and training.
  • Relationship building.
  • Extensive driving and travel.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Passport.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Hands-on technical experience (science - degree or industry).
  • Ability to travel extensively and with minimal notice.
  • Experience in a client/customer facing role.
  • Substantial driving experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Degree in science.
