We are partnering with a well-established international healthcare organisation to recruit an HR Manager (UK) for their UK head office in Fareham. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape the UK HR function while collaborating with global colleagues across a growing international group.

The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the HR Manager will lead the UK HR function and provide expert HR guidance to senior leadership while ensuring full compliance with UK employment law.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a trusted HR advisor to the Managing Director and leadership team
- Leading the UK HR function and managing an HR Assistant
- Managing employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Partnering with managers on recruitment, workforce planning and talent development
- Supporting culture, engagement and performance initiatives
- Overseeing payroll processes and HR governance
- Contributing to HR projects and global group initiatives
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a commercially minded HR professional who is confident influencing at senior level.
Requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 minimum (Level 7 desirable)
- Minimum 5 years’ HR experience in the UK
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience in a standalone or autonomous HR role
- Proven experience managing employee relations cases
- Experience developing junior HR staff
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
