At Kinetic we’re redefining operational excellence in higher education, conferencing, and events. As the leading provider of software solutions for student accommodation, event management, catering, and residential services, we help institutions streamline operations, elevate customer experiences, and unlock their full potential. With over 25 years of experience and trusted by more than 350 institutions worldwide, our software empowers universities and venues to run smarter, faster, and more collaboratively. Our culture is built on empowerment, community, and continuous growth.

About the Role

We’re looking for a confident, people-focused Software Trainer to join our Customer Experience team. You’ll deliver training that helps our customers get the best from our platform—whether that’s part of a brand-new implementation or helping power our customers to go even further. This is a part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week) with fully remote or hybrid working from our Milton Keynes office—there's no on-site customer requirement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Project Delivery: Be the go-to for training during new implementations and projects. Work with Project Managers, Customer Experience Managers and Product Managers across the full customer lifecycle. Help shape how customers engage with and adopt our products through our popular ideas forum.
  • Training & Implementation: Deliver training that clicks—remotely via video sessions, with flexibility to work from our Milton Keynes office if preferred. Supporting customers’ system setup, datasheet validation, and configuration for new software deployments. Manage your time and input into capacity planning alongside the team, ensuring you hit department and individual metrics whilst delivering value.
  • Customer Advocacy: Gather meaningful customer feedback and share it with Product and Delivery teams. Help influence future product direction by being the voice of the user. Build strong relationships that lead to real business outcomes.
  • Facilitation: Pull together people from across Kinetic to ensure great service. Spot opportunities, follow up on actions, and make sure our service levels continue to go the extra mile.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience as a Software Trainer (or in a similar training/delivery role).
  • A people-first mindset and a passion for excellent customer experiences.
  • Great time management and attention to detail (especially around data).
  • Confidence delivering sessions both in person and online.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity and a love of solving problems.
  • Comfortable with tech and picking up new tools quickly.

Benefits & Perks

  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) - with extra days the longer you’re with us.
  • Two paid wellbeing days each year, with a budget to enjoy some time out with someone important to you.
  • Enhanced pension contributions to support your future.
  • Two paid days a year to give back through volunteering, charity work, or sustainability projects with our Green Team.
  • Salary sacrifice schemes for electric vehicles and cycle-to-work.
  • 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Programme for confidential advice and support.
  • A full annual health check to keep you at your best.
  • A flexible benefits platform - from life assurance and learning opportunities to retail discounts and cinema tickets.
  • A genuine people-first culture where your growth and wellbeing come first.
  • Performance-related bonus scheme to reward your contribution.
  • Regular socials - from team get-togethers to all-company celebrations, with each department owning a budget for their events.
  • The opportunity to attend group conferences, away days and learning forums both in the UK and abroad - network with other talent.
