Kinetic Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Supply Chain Administrator to join a busy and established manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a background in supply chain, purchasing, manufacturing or inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and analytical skills and be comfortable working with stock, suppliers and production requirements.

The Role

Working as part of the Supply Chain/Operations team, you will help ensure materials and inventory are available when required to support production and customer demand. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing production, finished goods and inventory data to identify raw material requirements.
  • Raising and processing purchase orders based on material requirements.
  • Liaising with suppliers and following up on orders, delivery dates and any required amendments.
  • Ensuring raw materials are available on time to meet production requirements and customer orders.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and helping to maintain optimum stock levels.
  • Supporting inventory accuracy and participating in regular cycle counts.
  • Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies where required.
  • Maintaining accurate purchasing, inventory and supply chain records.
  • Working closely with production, operations, suppliers and other internal departments to ensure an efficient flow of materials.
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Preparing and analysing purchasing and inventory information and reports.
  • Ensuring departmental procedures and relevant policies are followed.
  • Supporting the wider Supply Chain team with general administration and other duties as required.

About You

We are particularly interested in candidates who have previous experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to inventory, purchasing, materials planning or supply chain administration. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a purchasing, supply chain, materials or similar administrative role.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of inventory/stock control and material requirements.
