Then here’s what we are looking for:
- HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Qualifications / Experience
- 2 -3 years of experience in the delivery of Electrical Projects.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and desire to lead.
- An appreciation of mechanical/civil and process systems and an aptitude to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Design of conventional instrumentation systems (loop diagrams, instrument schedules etc.)
- Experience in the design of electrical control panels, including the creation of GA drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists using EPLAN
Advantageous Experience/Knowledge:
- Low Voltage Electrical Distribution design.
- Control System design.
- Earthing & Lightning design.
- A working knowledge of BS7671
- Knowledge of safety standards (IEC 61508, 61511, 61513).
- Knowledge of Functional Safety and Reliability and associated topics.
- Project management skills.
You will also be self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously where required, with a strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic deadline-driven team environment.

Day to Day Responsibilities
- Preparation of design deliverables using CAD and BIM software tools.
- Preparation of design documentation; basis of design, functional/user/procurement requirements and specifications.
- Develop an understanding of highly regulated industries.
- Develop an understanding of Safety Cases and the supporting documentation.
- Develop an understanding of risk and the preparation of designer’s risk assessments.
- Participate in the commissioning, and testing, of EC&I systems, ensuring functionality and performance meet operational needs.
- Interface with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
