What will I be bringing to life in this role?
- Develop features across the full stack of the application, including the database, web services and front end.
- Lead a small squad of developers and QA to deliver features to a high quality.
- Review features provided by stakeholders, suggesting any changes and validate feasibility.
- Assist and provide guidance to the sales team to enable new sales.
- Work with the support team to resolve issues with customers.
- Actively suggest improvements to working practices and processes.
What will I need to hit the ground running?
Essential skills and experience you’ll need:
- Experienced in C# and .NET
- Comfortable with SQL Server, database design, development and optimisation.
- Experienced with the Angular framework and related web technologies such as HTML, CSS and TypeScript.
- Being able to work with Web API web services.
- Awareness of security issues, guidelines (OWASP) and mitigations of those issues.
- Appetite to learn and improve, keeping on top of new technology developments.
Desirable skills/experience:
- Ability to lead small teams to deliver functionality to a deadline.
- Experience working with and migrating large legacy systems.
- Experience of Azure Pipelines and MSBuild.
- Experience working with ASP.NET MVC.
- Knowledge of WCF Services.
- Experience in WinForms/WPF.
- Understanding of web accessibility and considerations around responsive web applications.
- Understanding of localisation issues when developing for multiple markets around the world.
