What will I be bringing to life in this role?
Develop features across the full stack of the application, including the database, web services and front end.
Lead a small squad of developers and QA to deliver features to a high quality.
Review features provided by stakeholders, suggesting any changes and validate feasibility.
Assist and provide guidance to the sales team to enable new sales.
Work with the support team to resolve issues with customers.
Actively suggest improvements to working practices and processes.
What will I need to hit the ground running?Essential skills and experience you\βll need:
Experienced in C# and .NET
Comfortable with SQL Server, database design, development and optimisation.
Experienced with the Angular framework and related web technologies such as HTML, CSS and TypeScript.
Being able to work with Web API web services.
Awareness of security issues, guidelines (OWASP) and mitigations of those issues.
Appetite to learn and improve, keeping on top of new technology developments.
Desirable skills/experience:
Ability to lead small teams to deliver functionality to a deadline.
Experience working with and migrating large legacy systems.
Experience of Azure Pipelines and MSBuild.
Experience working with ASP.NET MVC.
Knowledge of WCF Services.
Experience in, WinForms/WPF .
Understanding of web accessibility and considerations around responsive web applications.
Understanding of localisation issues when developing for multiple markets around the world.
