Kinetic Recruitment are on the lookout for a hands-on, can-do Workshop Assistant to join a friendly team in Westhoughton. If you\’re someone who doesn\’t mind rolling up your sleeves one minute and answering the phone the next, this could be just the role for you! Hours of Work: * Monday to Thursday: 8am – 5pm * Friday: 8am – 3:45pm (early finish – yes please!) * 45-minute lunch break to recharge and refuel Pay Rate: * £12.21 per hour What you\’ll be doing in the Workshop * Inputting data into a computerised system * Chatting with customers and keeping the team in the loop * Setting up and allocating customer orders * Booking equipment and deliveries * Packing, unpacking, and prepping equipment * Supporting the workshop team with day-to-day tasks * Handling paperwork and admin like a pro * Answering phones and preparing quotes * Processing invoices (we love a tidy spreadsheet) What we\’re looking for: * Previous workshop experience would be great (tyre bay, garage, metal or timber workshop – all great!) * Someone who\’s comfortable juggling admin and hands-on tasks * Great communication skills – you\’ll be chatting with the team and customers * A keen eye for detail and solid computer skills This is a successful, family-run business where people genuinely enjoy what they do.
