Role: Warehouse/FLT Operative
Hours: Nightshift – Monday to Thursday 22:00 to 06:00, Friday 17:30 to 22.30
Hourly Pay Rate: £15.21
Tenure: Ongoing Temporary Role

Working at a large manufacturing company just outside Huddersfield, this is an ongoing temporary that may result in permanent employment. To be considered for this great opportunity to work with one of Huddersfield\’s employers of choice, you must have a Counterbalance Licence or Certificate and experience of operating a PPT.
The Warehouse/FLT Operative Role
Ensure that all orders are supplied to the production areas on time and in full, that all Goods Receipts are off loaded safely and stored in the correct areas under the correct controls, all Finished Goods are receipted, stored and dispatched safely and correctly to the 3rd Party Distributors and all other Warehouse functions are performed in line with Departmental procedures.
Warehouse/FLT Operative Responsibilities
To ensure the accurate receipt and documentation of all Components and Raw Materials in line with current operating procedures.
To ensure all receipts are located in the correct areas and stored in a safe and tidy manner in accordance with current operating procedures.
To supply the correct Components/Materials to the Production Teams, making sure that all stock is rotated in the company system and that the current operating procedures are followed at all times.
To ensure batch rotation on all released stock is maintained and adhered to.
To supply QA, QC, Marketing or Production samples as and when requested.
To ensure all daily FLT/Electric Runabout inspections are carried out and recorded in accordance with the relevant DI and all defect/anomalies are reported immediately.
To ensure that FLT/Electric Runabout batteries are charged, watered and maintained following supplier guidelines.
To operate and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Warehouse/FLT Operative Requirements
Counterbalance licence or certificate (can be in-house) to show operating competency
Experience of operating a PPT
Experience of working in a busy warehouse environment
Experience of Health & Safety in the workplace
Able to work the permanent nightshift
Full training will given for this role on the dayshift for the first few weeks. This role is scheduled to start mid August.
