FLT Drivers wanted for long term temporary contracts in Wallsend. Must hold a valid in date Counterbalance License and be able to provide certification. This position is Nightshift only. Working hours are: Monday - Thursday 10pm - 6am & Friday working a shorter shift finishing before midnight. £17.17 per hour, 38 hours per week.
Responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring products are loaded onto or unloaded from machines, trucks, or containers accurately and efficiently.
- Operating and monitoring forklifts to move goods.
- Handling and moving goods, ensuring they are properly secured during transport.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area around machines and loading areas.
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Assisting with inventory counts and ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Working with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Valid Forklift Truck Licence (C/B and/or Reach).
- Experience using an FLT.
- Previous experience loading and unloading heavy goods and materials.
