My client is seeking highly focused and motivated individuals to join an exciting new NRV production area in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing department, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where quality and efficiency are key.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Operate CNC machines, including manual loading and unloading of materials
  • Load materials to CNC saws and machines using overhead cranes
  • Set and operate CNC equipment, including adjusting setups plus changing jigs and fixtures
  • Ensure production runs efficiently by minimising downtime and maintaining machine performance
  • Always follow and promote safe working practices
  • Maintain high standards of 5S within the work area
  • Carry out tasks with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Work flexibly to meet the demands of the production area

What You Need to Apply:

  • CNC experience preferred, however training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good understanding and practical application of 5S principles
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
  • Flexibility and willingness to support production requirements
  • Ability to read engineering drawings (preferred)
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment (preferred)

Working Hours:

  • 2-shift weekly rotation between day and night shifts
  • Initial training will be conducted on day shift
