Our client, based in the Trafford area, are a precision engineering company who are now looking to expand the team and appoint a TIG Welder on a permanent basis.
Summary
- Salary 30k per annum
- Trafford location
- 4 day working week Monday to Thursday
- 6.00 am - 3.45 pm OR 6.30 am - 4.15 pm OR 7.00 am - 4.45 pm (37 hours per week)
Duties
- TIG welding SS & exotic metals.
- Soldering, brazing and other duties as required.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications of components and assemblies.
- Using inspection equipment to monitor quality of components produced
- Complete paperwork as per the company quality system
- Ensure all products manufactured and assembled meet quality standards
- Flexible working within other Manufacturing areas to meet workload demands
Experience required
- Minimum 5 years working as a TIG welder
- Time served or relevant experience in TIG welding
- Mechanical engineering problem solving
- Engineering units along with thread sizes, flanges, pipe fittings etc. is an advantage
- Must be flexible to move to different areas and do things other than welding when needed.
