Kinetic Industrial are supporting a leading food manufacturing company, based in Trafford, in their search for Permanent Machine Operators to join their small and successful team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturer who are known for producing high-quality ingredients. This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday on a rotating 3-shift system.
The shifts you MUST be able to work are:
- Mon to Thurs: 6am to 2pm / Fri: 6am to 12pm
- Mon to Thurs: 2pm to 10pm / Fri: 12pm to 6pm
- Mon to Thurs: 10pm to 6am / Fri 6pm to 12am
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator include:
- Operating plant machinery
- Working on a filling line machine
- Lifting and shifting bags that can weigh up to and including 25kg
- Maintain compliance with site hygiene, Health & Safety, and GMP requirements
- Follow internal and external specifications within a HACCP framework
- Complete relevant documentation and production records
- Work as part of a multi-disciplined team to achieve production targets
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department
Below is what we need the new Machine Operator to have:
- Previous experience working in a food production or food manufacturing environment
- Filling line machine experience
- Fast Paced Machine Operating experience
- Good understanding of product safety principles and HACCP
- Excellent grasp of communication and teamwork skills
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- The role requires accurate interpretation of written instructions in English so strong written and spoken English skills are required.
- Commitment to Health & Safety and maintaining high standards
- MUST be able to work the 3 shifts
