Kinetic are supporting a well-established and growing business based in St Helens with the recruitment of a Stores Operative. Part of an established group specialising in equipment for telecoms networks, the company have built a strong reputation within their industry and continue to grow year on year. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to build a long-term career within warehousing and stores. The company are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. This is a permanent position working within a busy warehouse and stores environment.
Role:
- Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Booking goods in and checking stock accurately
- Moving stock safely around the warehouse
- Supporting general stores and warehouse duties
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks
- Following all company Health & Safety procedures
- Completing paperwork and updating records where required
- Supporting the wider team with additional duties when needed
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or stores experience would be beneficial
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Basic IT skills would be advantageous
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
- FLT experience or licences would be beneficial but not essential
Details:
- Monday to Thursday 7am to 3:30pm / Friday 7am to 12:30pm
- Permanent job
- Salary dependent on experience
- Holidays and company benefits included
